Thursday Thoughts - 02/24/2022
In this short newsletter, I share the most interesting things that I’ve read, heard, and/or watched over the past week.
What I’ve Read:
Notion Company Homepage Wiki | Ayman Al-Abdullah
Made a Notion Company Homepage Wiki Template if anybody wants it. DM me I'll share it with you: pic.twitter.com/7lBh7Gw0xB

I saw this tweet and immediately thought about how to use this with SFG. It would be valuable to have all the guild information in one place instead of scattered across our Discord. I like the focus on yearly, monthly, and team member goals. I am seriously considering this as one of my next projects.
What I’ve Watched:
Core Idea: Time Management | Cal Newport
I went on a Cal Newport deep dive after listening his interview on the Tim Ferriss Show 2 weeks ago. In this deep dive, I consumed his books, podcast episodes, YouTube videos. I found his explanation of time management insightful and useful. I liked the flow of using long term goals to create weekly and daily schedules.
What I’m Pondering:
“Fault is past tense. Responsibility is present tense.”
Mark Manson, The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck
This quote is a timely reminder about accountability. The circumstances handed to you might not be your fault but that does not relieve you of the responsibilities going forward.
