Mailing It In

I had a terrible night of sleep with my daughter waking us up throughout the night. I don’t have the brain power to put together the usual newsletter. But I still have a bunch of players that have caught my eye. It’s just a list with their names and some notes.

Here’s my list for Week 12:

• Bryce Young (QB - CAR)
  • Averaged more than 11 points in last three games. I know it’s low for a QB, but this is solid if looking for to fill a bye.
• Xavier Lagette (WR - CAR)
  • Someone needs to step up in Carolina with Dionte Johnson gone. Why not Lagette?
• Jordan Addison (WR - MIN)
  • Had a solid game last week and targeted as much as Justin Jefferson. Would have had better stats if he didn’t leave the game with leg cramps.
• Christian Waston (WR - GB)
  • Looks to be gaining momentum as Green Bay’s WR1
• Jonnu Smith (TE - MIA)
  • Jonnu Smith has been the second fiddle in the Dolphin’s passing attack over Jaylen Waddle.
• Taysom Hill (TE - NO)
  • A bit of point chasing but Taysom Hill has been targeted in the passing game with Chris Olave out. He had 10 targets last game along with the touches as QB/RB. The targets creates a solid floor for Hill when he doesn’t score three rushing touchdowns.
